COVID-19 Update
Caring for families in the fourth trimester.
Serving central Maryland – Howard, Carroll, Baltimore, Frederick, Montgomery, Anne Arundel county.
These are the steps I am taking to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission:
- As of March 10, 2021, I will be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
- I will continue to wear a KN-95 mask while in your home and interacting with your family, as well as practicing frequent hand-washing.
- All members of my household are continuing to practice social distancing and limiting the number of other households we interact with.
- We discuss your comfort and preferences relating to safety measures and precautions before a contract is signed. We agree on a plan of care that feels comfortable for us both before I begin working in your home.
- I do not work in client homes if any member of the client’s household, or if I or any members of my own household, have symptoms of a contagious illness.
How Does it Work?
As your postpartum doula, I will nurture you and your family while you rest, recover and bond with your new baby or babies. I want to help you adjust to the many changes and new challenges you will encounter with your new baby. It is my belief that when you have support, you will feel confident in your parenting and your growing family will flourish.
